Details of Tumi Tladi’s memorial revealed

ITUMELENG Tladi’s death has left the nation feeling robbed of yet another young soul.

The musician passed away in the early hours on Sunday morning, 10 July.

The 30-year-old’s life continues to be celebrated by his fans and music industry colleagues.

On Wednesday, 13 July, his family announced that his memorial service will be held on Friday, 15 July, at the Rivers Church in Sandton, Joburg, from 12pm.

In a statement, they said: “The family of the late Tumi Tladi would like to thank South Africans for their outpouring love and support after the news of his untimely passing.”

They further explained that the rapper was a passionate and loving son, brother and uncle to his family. They shared that he was dearly appreciated by his friends and fans.

“Tumi sadly passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of Sunday, 10 July 2022 in Johannesburg. He leaves behind his parents, five siblings, his niece and nephews,” it said.

The Tladi family also requested privacy during this period of grieving.

They asked Mzansi citizens to keep them in their prayers during this hard time.

The funeral details will be shared once all the arrangements have been confirmed.
