SPORTS and entertainment show, Homeground, is coming to an end.
The Mzansi Magic show, hosted by Minnie Dlamini and Lungile Radu, has been on screens for the past four years and the last episode will be next Monday, 12 September.
Minnie shared the news on social media.
“This week’s look on #Homeground. After four years, our show is coming to an end. Don’t forget to tune in to our last episode next week Monday on @supersporttv & @mzansimagic,” she wrote.
Mzansi Magic confirmed the show is coming to an end. They released a statement and thanked people who had been part of the show.
“After 4 successful seasons, on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161), Homeground will come to an end with its final episode airing Monday, 12 September 2022. Hosted by Minnie Dlamini and Lungile Radu, the lifestyle-meets- sports show took viewers through the most thrilling sports highlights and in-depth celebrity interviews from Mzansi’s finest. M-Net would like to thank every guest who has been part of the show, including the show presenters and production crew behind the scenes,” said M-Net.

When asked what would replace the show, they said it would be announced soon.
“The M-Net Local Entertainment Channels is dedicated to bringing viewers the freshest local content, and will continue to uphold this commitment. New content will be announced in due course,” they said.
Fans of the show shared their messages of love with Minnie.
Ntomb_zamantuli said Minnie did well on the show.
“You did well, Minnie. Not much of a sport fan, but I did tune in to watch you. To life and moving on,” she wrote.
Sboh_mthombe commented: “Super proud of you darling, to greater things.”
Khosini Nkosi thanked Minnie for sharing her talent with Mzansi.
“It’s been a ride. Thank you so much for sharing your talent/skills with us! 12 years in this game!! I’m super proud of you! Forever and always a #LiveTV Queen,” she wrote.
