Speaking about the event before he died, Riky Rick said this was meant to pave the way to a normal life following the past two years of Covid-19.

“The past 20 months have humbled and impacted us in the entertainment industry. “With the huge support and backing from artists all over the country, we’re ready to get back on the road to normality,” he said at the time.

“With the industry currently flipped on its head, the Cotton Fest, together with its partners, hopes to regroup and celebrate 2022 in grand style.”

The venue for the gig will have a sports arena, fashion stalls, a cafeteria and photo booths.

Tickets are already available at WebTickets and will set you back R200 to R600.
