COMEDIANS Gab Mpungose and Masaladi Maphumulo, who are popularly known as Ngane Ngane Comedy, are looking for up-and-coming comedians.
The duo, who have a slot on Vuka Africa breakfast show on Ukhozi FM on Fridays, have embarked on a talent search for comedians.
The 33-year-olds from KwaMashu, north of Durban, said interested people can send videos on Facebook.
Gab, who has more than a decade in stand-up comedy, told Daily Sun that successful participants will be nurtured and given a chance to share the stage with other popular comedians.
“Those who want to be comedians like us must send us a one-minute video on our page where we will select three. There is no age limit and gender, but they must be older than 18,” he said.

Gab said they will host their comedy show on Saturday, 9 September at Stable Theatre in Durban, where they will give the successful participant the stage.
“We started this comedy search in March when we were doing a career expo at a Durban school and during that career expo, we discovered two up-and-coming comedians.
“Now we are looking for three to make five and nurture them to be better comedians because people need to laugh and release stress,” said Gab.
He said they will share the stage with comedians such as ChurchBoy, MaDlamini, Charles and Mthethwa.
“We want them to be exposed and be known by other comedians because they can book them as opening acts.
“After that we will provide them with the comedy workshops so that they can do comedy the right and fun way,” said Gab.
