A BRAND new season of the reality show, Come Dine With Me South Africa is about to hit the small screens.
The cooking series will return for season nine on Wednesday, 15 November and this time, it will have some familiar faces.
Actress Stephanie Ndlovu, Gagasi FM presenter Nonjabulo “Njabs” Zwane and radio and TV presenter Bongani Bingwa will take part and show off their cooking skills.
Stephanie, who will be on the second episode of the show, said she’s always loved cooking and that’s why she went to the show.
“Cooking has always been my love language, and I’ve always been a serious fan of the show. I thought why not take part,” she said.
The YouTuber said she has already started to plan her Christmas lunch menu.
“Honestly, I’m not sure I’m about the three-course menu this year. I think some delicious cheese boards and light nibbles while we throw some meat on a braai is how I’d like my Christmas lunch to go this year. Add in some fresh and crunchy salads and a frozen something for dessert and we have a winning course,” she said.

Njabs said the show reminds her of her mum.
“I just really wanted to say ‘I did it and I won'. Also, Come Dine With Me was one of my mother and I’s favourite shows. And since her passing, I've been immersing myself in things we enjoyed doing together so I can still feel close to her. So being part of the show just made sense,” she said.
The new season will premiere on BBC Lifestyle (DStv channel 174) at 8pm.
