COMEDIAN Celeste Ntuli revealed that she is too committed to her career to worry about her relationship status.

The former Isibaya star told Daily Sun she is single and not looking.

Although she’s happy, she said the love show that she will be hosting has made her realise how people still believe in love. She is currently shooting the reality show called Will He Say Yes, which will premiere on Honey (DStv channel 173) soon.

“The show assists women to propose marriage to their partners, and most men say yes. I’m a single person but I find myself in the centre of love. It’s amazing to realise how many sacrifices people can make to make sure that they secure stability in the relationship.

“They are people who really believe in love. And I, on the other side, don’t see why I shouldn’t be happy for being single. I’m too committed to developing my career than being in a relationship, or worrying about my current relationship status,” said Celeste.

She said that there are men who ask her out, but she doesn’t pay attention to them.

“I don’t see myself getting into a relationship anytime soon. I’m okay and there’s nothing wrong with me. The only thing that stresses me is work. I don’t see myself having umjolo stress,” said Celeste.

About her future plans, Celeste said that she will start touring Mzansi in September where she will host her comedy shows.

“I’ll also make sure that I host a show in Empangeni (northern KZN, where she grew up). But most importantly, I’m in Durban Botanical Gardens on Sunday (3 July) where I will be performing at Simphiwe Shembe Durban July Comedy Picnic. I have a lot to say on Sunday. I’m still energetic especially because we are still excited that the Covid-19 is slowly fading away,” said Celeste.
