CELESTE Khumalo is more than just a pretty face.

The 29-year-old actress and entrepreneur just earned two qualifications from schools in France and Italy.

She was awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in luxury brand management from Sup De Luxe in Paris and a certificate in luxury design management from Polimoda in Florence, Italy. This was her second MBA as she earned her first from Regenesys Business School in 2020.

“I’m a lover of very nice things and I also love education, so I decided to merge the two and do the MBA in luxury brand management,” she said.

“I had been eyeing this programme before getting my first one but it didn’t happen. When the opportunity came again, I applied and I got accepted. I always wanted a specialised MBA and the first one wasn’t one.

“I was doing it online due to the pandemic and because studying abroad is expensive,” she said.

“I just came back from France and Italy. I was there for a month for the luxury design management course. I did more practical things, met industry experts and saw how the French and Italians, the leaders in luxury, do things.”

Celese said she planned to do big things with her new qualifications.

“I plan on understanding the relationship between Africa, South Africa and the world. I cannot reveal my plans word for word now,” she said.

Celeste said she would not be returning to school again any time soon.

“I am going to take a break. I’ve spent my 20s studying. Now I want to focus on getting married and having kids,” she said.
