FOLLOWING the death of rapper Rikhado “Riky Rick” Makhado, the importance of mental health has been a topic of discussion among people.

With many celebrities being constantly bullied on social media, some have shared that they would be leaving Twitter because it was toxic.

Conversing on how the app could be toxic, award-winning rapper Nasty C begged his fans to leave it.

“If you are a fan of mine, out of my love for you and my concern for your health, I am begging you to leave the app,” he said.

Then rapper Nomuzi “Moozlie” Mabena said she recently bought a new phone.

“I never downloaded the app again. I am not going back. I would highly recommend this,” she said.

Another rapper AKA, who was bullied after the death of fiancé Anele Tembe and recently opened up about being suicidal, said he had left the app a year ago and his decision had saved his life.

Then Okmalumkoolkat joined in on the conversation, adding that Twitter was one of the darkest spaces on the Internet that was disguised as a safe space for opinion.
