CASSPER Nyovest's Phumakim created a rising star in Judge Maso!
The local rapper's musical journey was inspired by the famous rapper's music. The musician, whose real name is Masonwabe Sibotho, said after he heard the song play on the radio, he started tapping into his creative side.
Judge Maso told Daily Sun that he is now in the music space because of Cassper's single.
The 24-year-old said he managed to release songs such as No Stress and Unfortunately last year that paved the way for him in the music industry.
Judge Maso from Sterkspruit in the Eastern Cape said his latest single, Uthini, is also doing well as he's getting booked like his idol.
"Cassper Nyovest was the inspiration for me to start making music because I was already a fan of hip-hop but when he came on he made the whole thing look fun and interesting to do. From the day I heard Phumakim, it changed everything," he said.
Judge Maso said he can't wait to collaborate with Cassper one day.

"I officially started doing music when I was 19 because I had the time. I was also inspired by the likes of Nasty C, who was very young at the time and doing the most.
"I have worked with my friends mostly and in the industry, I have collaborated with Musiholiq, K.Keed, and Flash Ikumkani. It was great and inspirational working with them because they are masters at work," he said, adding that they also take their craft seriously which makes the process of making a song very easy.
"I have a new EP that's coming this winter season. I have worked with MusiholiQ, Flash ikumkani and k.keed. On this EP you will get to know me better because I tell a lot about my life, where I'm from and my aspirations," Judge Maso said.
The musician said he would like to work with Nasty C, Emtee, and Sjava, and internationally, it would be Drake, Phora and Meek Mill.
