MEDIA personality Carol Ofori has finally launched her book Adventures of Sena and Katlego, which she wrote based on the lives of her children.
The talented radio personality took to social media to celebrate the launch and said that she can’t believe that it is finally happening.
“Pinch me it’s real. My book launch happened today and from the weekend you should find the books in all major bookstores! All 6 of them as part of the series. Buy 1, buy 2, buy all 6, just buy. Thank you, Lingu African Publishers for an amazing launch,” she said.
Speaking to Daily Sun previously, Carol revealed that as a mother she was frustrated that she couldn’t find books for her kids to learn more about Africa and its cultures.

“I wrote this because there was a gap in the market. There were very few books that spoke to what I was trying to instil in my children – a passion for the continent and its cultures,” she said.
The books take readers, between the ages of four and 12, on an adventure to South Africa, Uganda, Chad, Egypt, Eswatini and Ghana.
“It has not been an easy journey because it took me time to find a publisher. I had already parked it and told myself one day when I had the money, I would publish it myself,” she said.
“Writing was difficult because I’ve never visited some of the countries I was writing about. Time and research went into it.”
