ACTOR Bonko Khoza gave props to filmmaker Akin Omotoso for his new Netflix series, The Brave Ones.
Taking to social media, Bonko said the former Generations actor is a gift to the film industry.
He posted photos of the cast during the launch of the show and said Akin should keep on rising.
“What a time to be alive! @akinomotoso congratulations brother, you’ve created such a unique voice with your work that speaks to the entire world but sounds just like home. You’re a gift to this industry. Keep RISING King,” he wrote.

Akin created the fantasy and supernatural series with Robbie Thorpe, Portia Gumede and Steven Pillemer.
Bonko didn’t end with thanking Akin, but he also thanked Netflix, and the cast and crew of the series, especially the lead actress, Sthandile Nkosi.
“Thank you @netflixsa for bringing this story to life and sharing it with the world in the highest quality. To the cast and crew you are all incredibly gifted, talented and professional, what an honour it was to work beside you grinding to create this world,” he wrote.
“@sthandile_n You’re a star fam. I’ll never get tired of telling you how incredible you are, you’re born for this and it’s such a blessing to watch you shine,” he continued.

Bonko is also part of the series and stars as Nkosi. It follows an all-mighty goddess reincarnated as a young woman. She must harness her powers to avenge her sister’s death and protect her family.
It’s led by a star-studded cast of actors such as Sthandile, Tony Kgoroge, Zamani Mbatha, Keke Mphuthi, S’Thandiwe Kgoroge, Pheello Kotelo, Otto Nobela, as well as Pakamisa Zwedala.
