BISHOP Vusi Dube, a prominent pastor in Durban and a member of the KZN Legislature, has revealed shocking news about the late Ukhozi FM presenter, Irvin "DJ Amen" Sihlophe.

During the memorial service for Irvin Sihlophe at his church, eThekwini Community Church (ECC), on Friday, 17 November, Dube told mourners, family and friends that Ukhozi FM allegedly mistreated and underpaid Irvin.

Irvin, who had worked for Ukhozi FM since 2004, died on Thursday, 9 November as a result of a stroke.

Irvin joined Ukhozi FM in 2004 where he initially hosted religious programmes such as Unkulunkulu Nomuntu Omusha, then moved to sports programmes and finally to SABC Education.

Dube claimed that people need to know that Ukhozi FM allegedly mistreated and underpaid Sihlophe and transferred him unnecessarily.
