Big Zulu has distanced himself from Fumani birthday celebration.

The event is set for Saturday, 2 July. However, Big Zulu has announced that he knows nothing about this event and he will not be a part of it.

He took to his social media platforms and wrote: “Nkabi Nation. This is false advertising. I know nothing about this and I’m not coming.”

His fans have since expressed disappointment. Some even suggested he sues the organisers for using his brand.

Pozisa Pozie wrote: “They’re using your brand to market their event. They obviously want people to buy tickets. Can you imagine buying a VIP ticket with the hope of seeing Big Zulu, only to learn he was never a part of the event. This is unfair and thank you Big Zulu for informing us.”

Njabulo Zondo said: “They always use his name to attract people. Then in the morning, they’d start telling stories about his non-arrival.”

Ivatie Media Production advised him to sue the event organisers.

They wrote: “This is bad but you should consider suing them for using your name in marketing their event. They’re misleading people and this should not be allowed.”
