RAPPER and musician Big Xhosa has set tongues wagging once again.

Following his latest diss track, titled I Hate Me Now Too.

Real name Sesethu Myeki, the rapper directed the track to controversial podcasters MacG and Sol Phenduka, who

discussed him in one of their episodes, calling his music trash.

On the song, he can be heard insulting the two podcasters. “Who are you? I don’t make music for trust-fund babies,” the track said in part.

He further mentioned the attention he had been getting online over his last track, including from artists such as Cassper Nyovest, Emtee and Nasty C.

The track followed a few months after the rapper raffled some feathers with his hit-song Nyile, which took aim at some of Mzansi’s top rappers including AKA, Nasty C, Cassper and Big Zulu.

The new diss track was accompanied by a music video. And since its release, it has gone viral.

Sol responded: “You can diss me all you want my brother. You cannot take my joy. God bless you and I love you Big Xhosa.”

MacG, whose real name is Macgyver Mukwevho, was yet to respond.

Social media fans defended Sol and MacG, saying they never made fun of Big Xhosa.

“If you watch the podcast though, you’d see that Sol never went for Big Xhosa. Instead, he went for iFani. He praised Big Xhosa and SOS. He called him dope, but only talked trash about this one song that has iFani. The real target is iFani,” Siya Gatsheni wrote.

Lungelo Ndelu loved the diss track.

“I used to be one of those that doubted you but you’re really good at what you do, especially how you market yourself. Ilanga is a great track too. I don’t really listen to the records where you’re trolling.”
