THE relationship between Big Brother Mzansi ex-lovers, Themba Mabaso and Mphowabadimo, has gone from bad to worse.
Mpho kicked Themba out of the home they shared together, and now she’s allegedly receiving death threats.
Mpho, who won the season of the reality show last year, released a statement saying her life is in danger.
“Due to the ongoing stories about my past relationship, it has also started to affect my personal life in every aspect. I have been receiving death threats. From calls to texts threatening my life and my son's life till today. Those threats have been direct, and it has created a very hostile situation for me and those close to me,” she said.

Mpho claimed the messages are from people who are close to her ex.
“I've been receiving pictures of my car, home and son with threats. Some of these messages and calls are coming from people close to the person I was in a relationship with,” the statement read.
Mpho had opened up to Daily Sun earlier this month about her relationship with Themba after she posted a photo of Themba’s belongings packed in plastic bags and said she was kicking him out.
A few days before, Themba had posted a video of himself in the hospital saying his hand might be amputated.
But Mpho claimed she didn’t know anything about that, because Themba had left home two weekends before that incident for a gig.
“The last time I saw him, we got into a fight. He left the house in the early hours of Sunday and disappeared and said it was one of his friend’s birthdays. That was the last time I saw him. I only found out on social media that he's in the hospital on social media.
“He just told me he needed time away and didn’t say anything about being injured," she said
Mpho said they live together, but Themba had another life that she didn't know about.
“It’s been a lot honestly. When I go to his family, I become a joke and I decided to let it go because I’m pregnant. I sent his clothes home via Uber and told his uncle and he supported me,” she said at the time.

Mpho said Themba hasn’t been there for her since she fell pregnant.
“Themba hasn’t been present from day one. Not financially and not emotionally either, and that’s why I decided to go my own way,” she said.
The SunTeam has been trying to get ahold of Themba for the past three weeks, but he doesn’t answer our calls or messages but he is active on social media where he has been sharing information about his upcoming events.
