Socialite, businesswoman and reality TV star Tebogo Thobejane joins the cast of Ayeye: Stripped.
She is known for appearing on SABC2 soapie Muvhango, her podcast City Girls and now for owning a strip club in Sandton, north of Joburg.
The show is making a comeback after eight years and it’s packed with a variety of new actors.
Ayeye: Stripped’s first episode will premiere on 5 August on Mzansi Magic and it will have 13 episodes.
The series – which was originally on 1Magic – initially followed three male best friends navigating messy love lives, testy friendships and soaring careers. With this new season, it will now tell the story of a rich stay-at-home mum who becomes an adult content creator in order to maintain her lifestyle after her baby daddy dies,and his family takes everything.

Actress Rosemary Zimu stars as Zoleka, a 30-year-old left on the verge of destitution, which forces her to find other ways to keep her lavish lifestyle.
Other cast members include radio personality Zama Ngcobo, Big Brother Mzansi season 3’s Luthando “BU” Mthembu, actors Kealeboga Masango, Moya Maweni, Pabee Moganedi, and Charles Phasha. The show is produced by the award-winning Seriti Films, which is also behind successful shows such as Gomora, The Herd and The Imposter 2.
“As a channel, we’re adaptable and ahead of the curve, which is why we’re embracing the anthology format for some of our shows. The first season of Ayeye gave viewers plenty to talk about, and this new season is just as topical,” said Shirley Adonisi, director of local entertainment channels at M-Net.
