PLAYWRIGHT Ayanda Borotho has encouraged people to start buying and using land wisely.

In her Instagram post, she warned that the problem is bigger than Eskom and the cost of living is about to get worse.

Ayanda, who’s also an actress, producer and author, warned: “When the BS is real. Until we realise that communities must be organising themselves to be fully independent of governments, we will find ourselves in a hole we can’t get out of. In 20 years to come, these will not be conspiracy theories. Everything we thought would never happen is already here and IT’S NOT GOING TO GET BETTER.

“Food and petrol hikes, electricity and water will be a luxury... you can only guess what’s next. I would tell you but you will say I’m lying. The era of control is here. If you have money, buy land.

“Own land, land that can sustain you. Food stokvels are not going to help us. Set up solar and borehole stokvels. This is no joke. It has never been more critical to organise ourselves. It’s a matter of life and death. This agenda is bigger than Eskom.”

TV host Kayise Ngqula couldn’t agree more with her. Kayise wrote: “The truest truth. Home has long time become where the heart is for me. And it is not in JHB my sis.”

Actress Sthandiwe Kgoroge commented: “Remember our discussion in Durban? It’s a matter of urgency that we learn other skills. Agriculture being at the forefront. #Organise.”

Velile Sithole said: “The invasion has begun and we are now pointing fingers at each other. The rich are not bothered. They have the engines of generators singing Nkosi Sikelela so loud it’s deafening our ears in the suburban areas. They are waiting patiently until the score is clear and poor Africans have destroyed every infrastructure they thought they have and each other.

“This is an industrial war cooked from the top. Vuka MaFrika. Dear South Africans, please protect this from escalating to the rural areas on our tribal land. Let us not depend on anyone and do it ourselves the way we know how. Mayihlome.
