ACTOR and scriptwriter Sparky Xulu has shared that he bid farewell to his role in the SABC3 drama series, The Estate.

The 31-year-old actor from Pietermaritzburg, KZN, said it was wonderful playing the character and it’s the right time to put it to rest.

Sparky played the role of a naughty rich kid who used to find himself in trouble knowing that his family will always come and cover up for him.

On Monday, 1 August the actor wrote: “As I approach my final week on The Estate, I just want to say thank you to everyone who watched and enjoy the work I put in for this character and show. I really enjoyed telling his story. Now I have to put him to bed.”

Sparky became popular through his character in Mzansi Magic’s drama series The Herd in 2018. He played the role of Muzi on the show.

“It’s bad to see you leaving but you have made your mark bro. All the best on your new endeavors,” ST Khumalo said.

Nolo Mabobo said: “You really killed the role, Siyabonga Phakathwayo. You will definitely be missed. #TheEstateOn3.”

Amogela g Makape said: “Ei ja neh... kodwa you did the things that cannot be undone with Siyabonga Phakathwayo. Siyabonga ngempela for blessing us with your talent. Do more wonders with your next moves #TheEstate.”
