GROWING up she wanted to be a doctor but when she discovered that she could entertain people with her dance moves, she followed a different path.
Thato "Sweet Lemonade" Ntsoko from Orchards in Tshwane is an amapiano dancer who now earns a living with her dance moves.
The 23-year-old will be among the dancers who will be performing at the Metro FM music awards in Mbombela Stadium on Saturday, 6 May.
Sweet Lemonade became popular after a video of her dancing to Jazzidisciples's Zlele went viral on social media.
“I did a promo video for the song and that helped me become one of the most known dancers in the country,” she said.
She told Daily Sun that she knew that she was a good dancer from a young age.

“I did Latin dance from primary school and dancing has always been something I enjoyed doing,” she said.
She said her focus is on dancing only.
“It is my career. My bread and butter. What drew me closer to dancing was the passion and the love. It’s something I don’t need to fight for or go to school for, and it's something that is instilled in me. A God given talent,” she said.
She said it was hard for her parents to accept her career choice.
“It has been rough because how our parents grew up is totally different to how we are growing up. At first, they were not sure about my career choice, but I took it upon myself to prove to them that I can make it and I can make means out of it. Since then, they have seen me grow as a performer and dancing on big stages with different artists,” she said.
She said she also wants to venture into music.
“I don’t want to sing anymore. I want people to also feel me when I speak, cause double the trouble,” she said.
