THIS actress is grateful for her role on Muvhango.
Mulisa Mudau, who plays Elelwani, a feisty waitress with big ambitions on SABC 2’s Muvhango, believes the drama series is her home.
The 29-year-old from Sasolburg in the Free State told Daily Sun that working for the legendary production still feels surreal.
She said that Muvhango impacted her life positively.
"My granddad used to be an extra on the show, and years later, his grandchild is one of the cast members," she said.
Mulisa said that it was a dream for her.
"It has not only changed my life in a positive way, but it has also taught me about the industry that I am in and for me to get better and better."
She said that she's proud of the journey her character has gone through.

Mulisa said she had no plans of leaving the show.
"I enjoy working with the team, and I hope to work with them for many more years," she said.
The actress said she had stumbled across challenges in the acting industry along the road.
"I've experienced normal and general challenges. As freelancers, the more gigs you have, the better, but you'll have one, and then you have to wait, and it could be a bit stressful."
She said that auditions are also daunting.
"You can go to five auditions and not even get booked on one. That's demoralising, but that is the beauty of my industry. What is meant for you will find you, and it's an industry of passion, patience, and love," Mulisa said.
