AWARD-WINNING actress Lungelo Dhladhla never wanted fame.
The 37-year-old from Durban, KZN stopped acting a long time ago because it wasn't her initial plan.
The former actress said she wanted to be behind the scenes as that's something she studied and has passion for.
Lungelo, who chose to step off TV screens is now realising her dream of contributing to society through her company.

"Currently, we're developing a teenage drama series. Our company focuses on creating content that empowers the community. While initially rooted in comedy, our focus has shifted to skill development and empowering young people," she said.
Lungelo co-owns Mindset Concept company with Sbu Ngobeni. The company prides itself in creating content that addresses the social issues in the country.
During the Soweto Blaze movie launch in Hyde Park, Lungelo shared with Daily Sun that her focus is on producing and brand-building.
"I've shifted to producing, behind-the-scenes work, education, and training. I'm dedicated to establishing Mindset Concept's brand and expanding our presence. We've recently opened an office in KZN," she said.
Lungelo gained popularity with her roles in Intersexion (2010) and uGugu no Andile (2008) on SABC1.
She won the most promising actress award at the African Movie Academy Awards for her character Gugu in 2009.
