SEASONED actress and musician Keabetswe "KB" Motsilanyane has joined House of Zwide.

The versatile former Rhythm City and 7de Laan actress will be playing a powerful lawyer, Nandipha, who is Alex Khadzi’s sister.

Her character started to appear on Wednesday, 5 July on the e.tv soapie at 7pm.

Alex was played by award-winning actor Warren Masemola, who recently exited the show after his character was accidentally shot and killed by Zwide during a scuffle.

Nandipha’s character has been described as headstrong and undeterred in her quest to find out what happened to her missing brother.

According to the statement sent by e.tv, Nandipha comes to Zwide's house to look for her late brother Khadzi.

"Nandipha’s father was a polygamist. He was wealthy, powerful and painfully traditional. This is why he pretty much banished Alex and his mum from the family when he discovered how Alex loved making dresses and wearing them occasionally.

"Even though she kept it a secret, Nandipha admired her brother. But she towed the line. She was academically gifted and attended the best schools."

She later became a powerful lawyer and in the back of her mind, she always believed she would one day reconcile with her brother after their father died.

"She receives word that Alex has gone missing. She comes crushing into our world, looking for her brother. When all the evidence points to the fact that Zwides were involved in her brother’s disappearance, she becomes the most dangerous enemy they have ever faced."
