BHAKA Nzama is known for being a controversial maskandi singer and inyanga.

And, he always brags about helping people with their ancestral matters and calling.

One celebrity who has allegedly praised him is actor Simphiwe Majozi.

It is alleged that Simphiwe, who plays the role of S’bu on Uzalo, has told everyone that his career has been blossoming as a result of the help he received from Bhaka.

He allegedly dug up the dam in Illovo, KZN, to cleanse his patients, where villagers once complained of a creepy lizard.

One source said Simphiwe was not ashamed about befriending the inyanga because their friendship came with benefits.

“He told us that before he joined Uzalo, he was struggling. And when Uzalo took him in, people expected him to live the lavish life because they were seeing him on TV, so he went to Bhaka for help. Now his career, including music, is growing,” said the source, adding that Simphiwe did not clarify how Bhaka had helped him.

“We always ask him if Bhaka gave him muthi for good luck, but he doesn’t say. He only tells us to go to him and find out for ourselves. Their friendship is on other level. He even went to perform at his event in December, where he told the crowd that he would not be where he was if Bhaka had not helped him,” said the source.

Simphiwe confirmed that Bhaka had some influence in the growth of his career.

“Bhaka has a good heart and is highly supportive. He was there for me during hard times. He helped me a lot, and I wouldn’t be where I am if it were not for him.”

However, he refused to specify how Bhaka had helped him, only saying: “He is supportive and offers help where it is needed.”

Bhaka said the nature of help that he had given Simphiwe was between them.

“I cannot mention how I helped him. But I helped him as a friend,” he said.
