TV PRESENTER and actor Linda Majola has opened up about how he was rejected for living his truth and how it affected him.
The actor, who plays Langa on Showmax’s popular show The Wife, said: “Growing up I’ve experienced quite a lot of rejection. I got rejected just because I was living my truth. And now I’ve willingly put myself in a profession where I could be rejected. Hehe iFilimu mtase! God put me in this position, and I’ll embrace it with both hands,” he said.
“I struggled so much with my self-esteem to a point that when I find myself on stage, a TV set or even recording a video, my voice begins to tremble, I mess up my words and end up punishing myself for dropping the ball. But after that I remind myself that at least I try and do not give up on myself.”

He thanked God for the skill He has blessed him with and promised that one day when he has mastered the skills, he will be one of the greatest Mzansi has ever produced.
The Wife was Linda’s first ever acting role and he previously told Daily Sun his experience on set had been good so far.
“This is because I am around people who are very encouraging. But to be honest, I’ve also had a lot of awkward moments.
“I’ve had an amazing experience on set, working with some of the most talented people in Mzansi who have been in the industry for long. They have been very supportive and helpful in advising me on how to do things,” said Linda.
“I don’t take for granted the opportunity I have. I come from working in a trailer, cooking and preparing fries for people every day. Now to be here with kings and queens of their respectable fields, is an amazing opportunity for me.”
