Actor and musician Mbuso Khoza, who plays Maphalala on Umkhokha: The Curse.

ACTOR and musician Mbuso Khoza has left Umkhokha: The Curse again.

This time Mbuso, who played Maphalala, said he was focusing on his music career and building his school of music in Eshowe, northern KZN.

Mbuso played Maphalala on the first season of the popular Mzansi Magic telenovela. When the show returned for season two in 2023, there was a confusion when his character was played by Langalakhe Zwane.
