ACTOR and TV presenter Aaron Moloisi is celebrating a huge milestone in the entertainment industry this year.
It has been 20 years since he got into the industry and he dedicates all his success to his grandmother, who raised him.
Aaron said it was in August 2002 when he left his job during lunch, where he worked as an IT technician, to audition for an educational talk show called Take Five. Without any experience, Aaron boldly went into the audition and nailed it with five languages.
That was the beginning of his career.
“I did not know anything about presenting. What I did was I went into the audition and found over 4 600 people,” he said.
“I saw a white lady and asked her what did she want me to do and she told me to look into the camera. Once I was done, I had left them with an audition in four languages.” Speaking to Daily Sun, the 43-year-old from Ga-Dikgale Village in Limpopo detailed all his milestones – from being a presenter, to being an actor and now the owner of a digital radio station called Legend Radio.

He said his biggest weapon from varsity to working in different places was always equipping himself with information and learning different languages.
Speaking about his digital radio station, he said The Legend Radio, has become the only radio station in the continent that broadcasts in eight languages.
The aim of the station is to talk about ordinary people doing extraordinary jobs.
He said the station went on air in January, broadcasting to seven countries. Two weeks later, it had reached 23 countries across Africa.
“We haven’t even officially launched it yet. The radio station is known worldwide and we are sitting on over 10 million listeners,” he said.
For his achievement, Aaron got a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Hope Givers Foundation in Limpopo for his initiatives.
He was honoured in the presence of kings in Tzaneen.
“It is such an honour to be celebrated in such a manner. It’s really humbling,” Aaron said.
