Popular DJ Mobi Dixon has been travelling to Bloemfontein Magistrates Court since July.

A guest house owner assaulted the musician after his performance with his team.

His case has been postponed for a while, and he will hear about his case’s outcome.

The 37-year-old musician, Mabi Ntuli, said he encountered the assault incident in May this year.

On Wednesday, 20 September, the musician from East London, Eastern Cape, made a brief appearance at the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court.

Mobi Dixon told Daily Sun that the matter was postponed for further investigations and possible mediation.

According to the NPA, the matter was remanded for further investigation, and the accused was out on warning.

In July, they confirmed that a warrant was held for the accused even though the musician was not in court.

The musician opened a case of assault at the Park Road Police Station in Bloemfontein on Wednesday, 14 June.
