Rapper and TV presenter Proverb confirmed today that his wife of over a decade Onalerona cheated on him.
Sunday Sun reported today that the Idols presenter's wife cheated with businessman Edwin Sodi. In the report, the two apparently met at a car wash in Ruimsig. Concerned fans took to social media to wish the two well and confirm if the reports were true.
Proverb confirmed in a tweet that read "Its all been verified I'm afraid and this time it's all true. I learnt on Friday and at least had a day to prepare for the blow". He has since deleted the tweets. Both Onalerona and Edwin denied the affair. Onalerona said: “I know Edwin as a guy I normally meet at the car wash. Even my husband knows him as he lives in the area.”
When asked for comment, Edwin told the People’s Paper: “I’ve noted your question sent to me via email and I’ve absolutely no knowledge about the issue you’re raising.”
People took to Twitter to weigh in their cents on the matter.
