Csana’s single has people dancing!

AFRO-pop singer Csana has just released a hot summer single titled Isdudla.

The song can be loosely translated to mean, the fat one. She said it is not about herself.

She told SunBuzz that the song is going to be popular in a big way.

The single is taken from her debut album called Imbokodo.

“It’s a dance song that appeals to both young and old. When I wrote it I was in a celebratory mood. I couldn’t hold myself back, but wanted to share it with my fans. I believe this song will help my music break beyond the borders of Mzansi to other countries. I composed the song but it was produced by Luyanda Madope,” she said.

The Port St John’s singer, whose real name is Nonguquko Mlaza, started singing at the age of 10.

She said she never imagined that one day she would have an album.

Csana described herself as a rural girl.

“I was inspired by village women and girls to record the song, when they perform at traditional dance ceremonies. People already love it and sing it whenever they are celebrating something at their houses,” she said.

Her first single Sgantsontso was well received and is receiving radio airplay, and its music video is being screened on many music channels.

Csana’s new single is available on iTunes.
