METRO FM DJ, Siphokazi January, wants herex-boyfriend to return her car!
Siphokazi caused a scene at the Metro FM Music Awards launch in Sandton when she demanded that Mhlo Gumede return her wheels.
Sunday Sun’s sources, who were at the event, said they were sitting in the smoking area when they saw Siphokazi pacing up and down trying to find Mhlo.
“A few minutes later we heard chairs and tables falling. When we checked, we realised it was Siphokazi and her boyfriend pushing each other around,” claimed the source.
The source added that Siphokazi demanded the car keys from Mhlo.
“He refused to give her the keys and they got physical.
“She yelled that she wanted her car back because she was still paying for it every month,” said the witness.
The source claimed the fight was so ugly that the two had to be separated.
Mhlo has allegedly been driving Siphokazi’s red Mini Cooper.
“Even when Siphokazi had an A3, he was the one driving it most of the time,” alleged another source.
According to the source Mhlo has been relying on Siphokazi for everything.
“He had his own car but since he had an accident ages ago, he has never bought another one.
“Things have not been going well for him ever since the accident.
“That’s why he regarded Siphokazi as his jackpot,” claimed the source.
Siphokazi refused to comment on the matter saying it was a very sensitive issue.
She told the SunTeam: “I really don’t know why Mhlo is refusing to give me the car back.
“I wouldn’t want to comment on it for now,” she said.
Mhlo’s phone rang unanswered and he did not respond to our messages and SMSes.
