ALTHOUGH rapper-turned-amapiano sensation Cassper Nyovest is set to fight actor Naak Musiq in Sun City Resort on 9 April, he has already set his eyes on the bigger picture.
Cassper, who has claimed that no local celebrity could stand against him in a boxing match, revealed that the only fights he was looking forward to were against rapper AKA and Prince Kaybee as he had grudges against them.
“Honestly speaking, the fight I really wanted was with AKA but I don’t think that will ever happen. The other person was Prince Kaybee but he’s busy babysitting or doing something else. I feel like they deserve a whipping,” he said.

Cassper, who previously fought and won against YouTuber Slik Talk, also revealed that he was hoping to one day battle the likes of Davido and Burna Boy.
“I don’t have beef with anyone in Nigeria. I saw Davido boxing the other day and I could see he has moves, but I don’t know if he’d be able to step it up in the ring. But Burna Boy, on the other hand, looks strong. It would be quite fun to fight him. We could even fill up the O2 Arena in London and have the whole world watching us,” he said.
Speaking to Daily Sun ahead of the match, Cassper said there was no way he would lose.
“That’s a definite because I know I have put in the work. I’ve also said a little prayer that I hope I don’t hurt him too much. At this point, I don’t think there is any celebrity in the country who can stand me in the ring. I respect him for showing up and sticking to his word.”
He added that he had been preparing hard for the match.
