HIP-HOP artist Duncan Mbambo is officially off the market.
The 26-year-old recently got engaged to his girlfriend Nosipho Ntombela.
The lobola negotiations took place on Saturday, 27 August at Nosipho’s home in Umlazi, south of Durban. The pair have been dating since 2014 and have no children.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Duncan said: “I can confirm that I just paid lobola for my girlfriend. It happened on Saturday and I feel excited about it.
“She’s made me the happiest man alive and I cannot wait to start a family with her.”
Duncan said they were planning their traditional and white weddings.

“Lobola is only the beginning of our marriage. There are still a number of traditional activities that need to be performed before the actual wedding,” he said.
“We wanted to do everything before the end of the year but due to financial constraints and unforeseen circumstances, we had to wait. So we have not set the wedding dates.”
Duncan said paying lobola made him a real man.
“Getting married is a huge step in my life. It’s a new chapter for me and I’m happy with my decision. I already feel like a real man. I’m assuming a new role as the head of the family,” he said.
Duncan’s name has recently been on everyone’s lips after he released a diss track dragging Big Zulu.
“I want to assure people that there’s no bad blood between me and Big Zulu,” he said.
Since Saturday, Duncan has been showered with congratulatory messages from his friends and supporters.
