’TO THE LEFT, TO THE LEFT’
Donovan Goliath is no longer a Real Goboza presenter.  ~

SABC1 gossip TV show, Real Goboza, is going through some serious renovations that could leave some jobless.

According to sizzling Jozi gossip, the TV show’s producers plan to sack presenter Sinazo Yolwa, and Donovan Goliath has already been dumped!

Sunday Sun sources further said the show’s production company aimed also to change the look and feel of Real Goboza

An informant said the reason behind the revamp was due to the show losing viewership and its popularity.

Said the informant: “The show is just boring, thanks to the fact that the presenters are also boring.”

The second source said the show didn’t only need new faces, it also needed better content.

“The content is boring. It’s supposed to be an entertainment show that breaks industry gossip, but it lacks that element,” the source said.

“There’s nothing wrong with the presenters, but they have nothing more to offer.

“Don’t get me wrong, their presenting skills are on point.

They have to work with what they have. They lack vivaciousness, drama and dynamic energy.”

The third source said a few people had called in for screen testing and private auditions.

Insisted the mole: “I know certain people have been asked to come in, but I’m not sure who the favourite is because they’ve been very cagey about the process.

“They’re trying to keep it away from the media, so they don’t kill the surprise element.”

Sinazo and Donovan were not available for comment this week.

Natasha Wadvalla, the show’s producer said: “SABC1 and Urban Brew Studios can confirm that Donovan Goliath is no longer an RGB presenter.

“As the show enters season 13, starting Saturday, 14 April, Sinazo Yolwa and guest presenter Msizi James will host the show. Sinazo is not departing the show. We’ll have guest presenters with Sinazo for the next few weeks until we announce a permanent co-presenter.”
