MANY in Mzansi wouldn’t know it, but driving on snowy terrain can be challenging, especially if your car has plenty of horsepower.

This was the case with a Porsche 911 that had plenty of horsepower and ended up stuck in a ditch on the side of the road in Poland.

Luckily, a Toyota GR Yaris was there to help even though things didn’t go very smoothly.

Carscoops reports that the GR Yaris sounded like a fitting car for the snow thanks to the rally-derived GR-Four all-wheel-drive system that allows the 192 kW three-cylinder engine to shine on any road.

It is, however, a lightweight car that had difficulty towing the larger and heavier 911 in low-traction conditions.

To make matters worse, the driver of this GR Yaris decided to pull from a strange angle and in what appears to be the wrong direction.

As a result, the Japanese hot hatch struggled to find traction and came perilously close to colliding with onlookers.

The Toyota was eventually able to tow the Porsche out of the ditch, with no injuries to anyone.

The Porsche’s damage may have been purely cosmetic due to the soft snow.
