It proved to be true, as the manufacturer bagged 10 gold awards at the 2017 Ipsos Vehicle Quality Awards.
Their golden winners include: the small hatch (Yaris), small sedan (Corolla Quest), multi-purpose vehicle (Avanza), petrol single cab (Hilux), diesel single cab (Hilux), one-ton single cab light commercial vehicle (LCV) brand, best performing LCV (Toyota Hilux Petrol), volume passenger car brand, local passenger car manufacturing plant and best local LCV manufacturing plant.
This confirms that if you know your market dynamics and work hard to meet their needs, you will succeed.
Ipsos is an international market research company.
The results come from a detailed survey conducted in 2016 and involved more than 7 000 owners of cars from 17 different brands.
According to Calvyn Hamman, senior vice president of sales and marketing, there is no greater joy than being voted the most trusted brand.
“This stamp of approval is a reflection of our ongoing pursuit to put smiles on our customers faces and proof to our dealers, sales teams as well as colleagues at the Prospecton plant that their diligence doesn’t go unnoticed. We are not only proud of the customers who have voted our cars the most reliable, but also proud of all the Toyota employees behind our brand,” said Hamman.
