Rolls-Royce, the British automaker well-known for building the most opulent saloons on the road is close to revealing their take on the luxury SUV. Of course, this being Rolls-Royce they don't call it an SUV.
They call it "a high-sided car".
Rolls-Royce has confirmed the name of their high-sided vehicel as Cullinan. The car was previously reffered to as project Cullinan.
The CULLINAN is named after the largest flawless diamond ever unearthed. When Rolls-Royce first announced this new vehicle, they said it will redefine luxury travel by making it effortless, everywhere.
Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer of Rolls-Royce says “It is the most fitting name for our extraordinary new product. Cullinan is a motor car with such clarity of purpose, such flawless quality and preciousness, and such presence that it recalibrates the scale and possibility of true luxury."

Rolls-Royce is being stingy with the details of this car. What we know is that the Cullinan will sit atop the new bespoke "Architecture of Luxury" which the eighth generation Phantom sits.
The Cullinan is expected to be unveiled later on this year. It will take on the likes of the Bentley Bentayga and Range Rover Autobiography.
