Q: What bike do you ride?
A: It’s a Honda CBR 1 000cc bought in 2013.
Q: Does your bike have a pet name?
A: Yes, it’s Punky.
Q: Is it your first bike?
A: It’s my fourth.
Q: Do you have a licence?
A: Yes, I got it a few years ago.
Q: How long have you been riding?
A: I started riding in 2011 – after I got my licence.
Q: What colour is your bike?
A: Blue, red and yellow.
Q: Why choose the colours?
A: Because they make Punky look colourful.
Q: How many traffic fines do you have?
A: None, because I am a good rider.
Q: How often do you ride?
A: Daily, if I can.
Q: Tell us about your outfit?
A: My T-shirt and waistcoat show the brand of the team I ride with.
Q: How far have you ridden?
A: I’ve been as far as Swaziland.
Q: Who else can ride Punky?
A: No one.
Q: Is it your dream bike?
A: Yes.
Q: What do you think of other Mzansi road users? Are they good on the road?
A: No, they are not. Some think bikers have less right to use the road. This is dangerous.
My appeal to them is: Accommodate bikers, be patient towards all road users and stop speeding.
