RENAULT says the modern and dynamic design of the new Kiger is what will make it stand out from other compact SUVs.
Let’s list what makes it stand out from the crowd:
1. Attractive Styling
The sportiness of its external appeal makes it a little more than your normal b-segment hatch. It’s got noticeable strong, sculpted lines with a higher ground clearance and aluminium finish skid plates.
2. Modern Cabin
The eight-inch floating touch screen, wireless smartphone replication, reverse camera, hands-free smart access and ambient lighting are some of the features that make this car well-specced.
3. Fun To Drive
Having driven it a bit around Tshwane during the launch, Renault Kiger’s new turbo charged petrol engine seems to make it more fun as you drive. It gives good balance between performance and efficiency with three different multi-sense driving modes.
4. Six Colours To Choose From
Buyers have six different body colours to choose from: cool white, planet grey, moonlight, mahogany brown, Caspian blue and radiant red.
5. It’s Fitted With Two Engines
It has an aspirated 1.0-litre engine with 52kW power output and 96Nm of torque and a three-cylinder turbocharged 1.0-litre engine with 74kW power and 160Nm torque on the manual.
6. Comes in Manual or Automatic
The engine is paired with either a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic, which the manufacturer attributes to their affordability pricing.
7. It’s Safe
Safety is also not compromised in the Kiger as it comes with ISOFIX for child safety, four front and side airbags, rear parking sensors, impact sensing door lock and more.
