Toyota's new Yaris might have been a disappointment, but the new Auris might make up for that.
Unlike the new Yaris with its creepy quirky design.
The Auris dawns a new sophisticated, European inspired design.
It is elegant and dynamic, no gimmicks here.

The new Auris comes with a revised engine lineup.
There's a conventional 1.2-litre petrol engine and two hybrids available on offer. There's a 1.8-litre hybrid with 91-kW and a more spirited 2.0-litre with 134-kW. Toyota says the 2.0-litre is aimed at customers who've asked for a more dynamic driving experience taking advantage of their new Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA).
The new Auris looks to be a serious contender in the segment
in which the Mazda 3 has enjoyed much success in.
And if the interior matches the exterior design and is built right, Mazda might have something to worry about.
The new Auris is expected to launch in 2019.
