MORE BLING FOR ASX!

accreditation

MITSUBISHI has added more flair to its range-topping ASX version.

The ASX GLS, which is quite a popular choice among SUV buyers, gets a subtle makeover to make it different from its siblings as well as give it more of an upmarket appeal. But the best news is that the facelifted GLS’s price is exactly the same as before!

Design changes include a redesigned grille with more chrome for the GLS model as well as LED daytime running lights. Other exterior design changes include a revised front bumper with a sporty honeycomb air intake, a new rear bumper with a diffuser and carbon-fibre inserts, and an LED rear foglight.

Striking new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and a new silver body colour with improved brightness and a high-quality appearance are an addition to the vehicle’s new silver package. This sets the GLS apart from the rest of the ASX range.

But wait – there’s more! On the inside, the GLS has a redesigned the centre console with geometric trim elements, two USB ports and a mobile phone tray with a removable padded liner.

The finish on the console centre and the power-window switch panels set in the doors have been upgraded too, while the soft leather seats – including the matching knee pads on the sides of the centre console – get the new red contrast stitching.

Over and above the already high standard list of comfort features, the GLS also boasts impressive safety list with seven airbags and a host of other active and passive safety features.

The Mitsubishi ASX GLS with CVT gearbox has a price tag of R399 995, which includes a three-year or 100 000km warranty, and a five-year or 90 000km service plan.
