IN Mzansi there are many different cars. Some are produced locally and others come from abroad.

Melody Ndlovu is just one of many people who enjoy driving to and from work and at the weekends.

The mother of two from Diepkloof zone 4, Soweto, spoke to SunWheels about her car.

Q: What car do you drive?

A: A Renault Captur 2018 model.

Q: When did you buy it?

A: I bought it in 2017.

Q: Is it your first car?

A: Yes, it’s my first.

Q: Why do you like it?

A: It’s comfortable, spacious and light on fuel.

Q: Is it your dream car?

A: Yes, it is.

Q: Why this colour?

A: It commands dignity. Besides, it matches with most of my clothes.

Q: Does it have a pet name?

A:Yes, her name is Darling.

Q: How often do you get traffic fines?

A: I don’t have any. I’m a good driver.

Q: Which feature do you like most?

A: Leather seats and the turbo.

Q: Would you lend it to anyone?

A: No, she’s my Darling.

Q: How far have you travelled in it?

A: As far as Mpumalanga.

Q: Tell us about other road users.

Most road users like speeding and that causes many accidents. Let’s reduce speed, buckle up and be tolerant of other road users. This will help reduce the high number of road fatalities.
