FORD is giving its popular Figo hatchback an additional dose of individuality and eye-catching style with the launch of the special edition new Figo Blu.
It is ideal for car buyers who are looking for something bold and unique.
Based on the five-door Figo 1,5 Trend, the limited production run of 360 units is available and can easily be distinguished from the standard Figo, thanks to a number of exciting styling enhancements.
Special design features include a black mesh grille, while the fog lights housings are given additional verve and eye-catching blue bezels.
Black multi-spoke 15-inch alloy wheels replace the Trend’s standard 14-inch versions and add to its athletic flair, in conjunction with black mirror housings and attractive decals that extend along the length of the lower section of the front and rear doors.
Regarding its distinctive look, the roof is painted in black and there are three available body colour choices: Moondust Silver, Oxford White and Smoke Grey.
On the inside, door panels incorporate distinctive blue gloss trim inserts. It boasts a leather steering-wheel, blue stitching for the gearshift gaiter and the “Figo Blu” logo embroidered on the front floor mats.
It comes with electric windows all round, central locking, an audio with Bluetooth connectivity, a USB slot, and Ford’s unique device dock in the upper section of the centre console for connecting and powering smart phone devices.
On the safety front, the Figo Blu is equipped with driver and passenger front airbags and ABS brakes.
As with the entire Figo range, this model is also powered by a 1,5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine.
It’s credited with a maximum power output of 88kW of power at 6 300r/min, and peak torque of 150Nm at 4 250r/min.
For peace of mind, the special edition Figo has a four-year/120 000km comprehensive warranty and a four-year/60 000km service plan.
