JOSEPH Seboko, who is originally from Rustenburg but now lives in Joburg as a student, said he bought his car for a good reason.

“I drove a rented Ford Figo and fell in love with it. So I bought the same model and make for myself.”

Q: Is it your first car?

A: Yes.

Q: Why do you love this car?

A: I have many reasons – it is a Ford, it is very comfortable and beautiful. It may be small, but it’s perfect for me and I can fit all my stuff in its boot.

My car is reliable and I like the way it cruises on the open road. I love travelling a lot.

Q: What are its best features?

A: It doesn’t have many features, but those it matches other cars on the road.

My favourite is the top class sound system. I enjoy listening to music during my drives.

Everything else is standard and I don’t need to change anything.

Q: Is it your dream car?

A: No. While I love my car very much, my dream car is the Ford Focus ST. I’m a big fan of this brand.

Q: How far have you driven it?

A: I travel a lot to Rustenburg and Limpopo back to Gauteng. It has never given me even a minor problem on the road.

Q: Tell us about its colour?

A: My car is white. White is not complicated like many other colours out there.

I also kept it without mags because as I said I travel a lot and mags get easily damaged or stolen in rural areas.

Q: Who else ai allowed to drive your car?

A: Only my girlfriend, Prudence Komane. No other person is allowed even near my car without my permission.

Q: Do you have any traffic fines?

A: Not one. The minute I set my foot on the peddle and I’m ready to drive, I don’t compromise.

I make sure that I drive well and don’t injure anyone on the road.

I love speed, but always check myself. So, I always drive under the limit.

Q: What do you think of other Mzansi road users?

A: Drivers are different but I find that most are cautious and do not injure others.

I do find it’s nearly always the reckless few who cause most of the problems on the roads.
