Jaguar’s XE SV Project 8, the world's fastest production sedan around the Nurburgring has had its crazy mad, in your face styling and aerodynamics toned down.

 Well, what's actually happened is that the SVO team has just replaced the Project 8’s adjustable carbon fibre rear aerodynamic wing with a fixed "Touring" spoiler.

The front splitter is also now fixed to balanced things out.

The new Jaguar XE SV Project 8 Touring will be limited to 15 four-seat vehicles worldwide.

It will feature the same 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 from the Nurburgring record holder.

So, you get 441 kW, and thanks to the four-wheel drive it will do 3.7 seconds and go on to a top speed of 300km/h.

If you are asking yourself why the SVO team went through all this trouble. Engineering Director of  Jaguar Special Vehicle Operations Jamal Hameedi said that the: "Touring specification extends the appeal of Project 8 to performance car enthusiasts and collectors who prefer a more discreet appearance, without compromising its driver-focused on-road dynamics.”
