Mathews Mokoena, also known as DJ Matt has got mad love for his wheels.
The Munghana Lonene FM sport presenter, singer, music producer and a businessman says he loves his car because it turns heads wherever he goes.
Born and raised in Mkhuhlu, near Bushbuckridge the 33-year-old says his Mini Cooper is one to die for.
“I love my car. When I or my wife drives, people turn heads. This is the latest model, a German export. I bought it early in January before it was even launched in Mzansi,” he said.
“I remember the day it was delivered at my workplace just before I could finish my show,” he said.
“I could see the car through the studio windows at a parking lot and I struggled focusing on the show as my mind was captured by this machine.”
He says what he loves about it is the technology inside the car.
“It has a magnificent built-in sound which helps us cut our songs and tells us if the songs are good or bad.
“It stole my love for BMW after my former colleague, brother and a friend Sydney Baloyi took me to the garage around Jozi,” he said.
“I am music producer, club DJ composer and event organiser and recently I released my single titled ‘Ahi Phuzeni’ where I worked with Mr Xtreme.
“I and my partner Themba Techtonics run a company called Tribe LA Groove which deals with digital marketing, design, advertising events.”
He said he is an honest man but hates being betrayed.
