ARE you a fan of bicycles and riding but lack your own pair of wheels?
One cycling brand distribution company has announced an arrangement with financing company I-ME Solutions. The arrangement allows clients to qualify for up to 24-month loans on new bike purchases.
David Pieterse, spokesman for Positive Sports Solutions, said their customers made a strong demand for an arrangement of this nature.
“Through our contacts in I-ME Solutions, we have made it possible for a dedicated cyclist to access the finance they need to afford their dream bike.
“The loan benefits the customer as he or she does not have to pay the full cost of the bicycle upfront but can pay off smaller increments every month.”
Freddie Fourie, co-owner of the Roodepoort-based financing company, said that the demand for bicycle finance led to them making the offer to individuals.
“We also have quite a few account upgrades where clients trade or sell their old bikes to finance new ones before they reach the end of the term.
“I-ME Solutions specialises in off-balance sheet finance of industrial and factory equipment for businesses.
“The special I-ME gear service was first created to finance bicycles to businesses but we now offer those business benefits to individual people.”
