The new Ford Everest is even more appealing.

HOT on the heels of comprehensive updates to the Ford Ranger range, the carmaker has made its Everest seven-seater SUV more appealing and upmarket.

The Everest boasts style, suspension and features upgrades, complemented by the introduction of the advanced 2,0-litre bi-turbo and single turbo engines.

It comes with new bumper and grille designs, with classy new 20-inch wheels.

The new model features a modern split spoke design that gives it a more dynamic appearance.

One of the main defining features of the updated Everest is the introduction of the new engine options.

The bi-turbo engine headlines the revised range, employing an innovative twin-turbocharger.

Maximum power output for the 2,0 bi-turbo engine is 157kW, matched with a 500Nm torque.

There is also a new 2,0-litre single turbo unit that delivers peak power output at 132kW, matched with 420Nm of torque.

Both engines are available with Ford’s all-new 10-speed automatic transmission.

The previous 2,2-litre TDCi and the 3,2-litre five-cylinder TDCi engines are still available.

The revised Everest also benefits from numerous suspension improvements which further enhance ride quality and refinement.

All models come standard with a four-year/120 000km comprehensive warranty and a six-year/90 000km service plan.
