MEET twin brothers Ashley and Athian Malungani from Diepkloof zone 4.
These 23 year-olds are planning to celebrate the second birthday of their beloved car, Direkere. The event will take place in Diepkloof zone 2 at a later date.

Q: What car do you drive?
A: It’s 2013 VW Golf 7 R.
Q: Is this your first car?
A: No, it is our third.
Q: When did you buy it?
A: We bought it in 2016.
Q: Is it your dream car?
A: No, our dream car is a Jeep Rubicon.
Q: Does it have a pet name?
A: Yes, his name is Direkere. It means rubber.
Q: What features are your favourites?
A: The interior – especially the dashboard and seats.
Q: Will you change anything?
A: No, I have changed enough for now.
Q: Would you let anyone else drive?
A: Yes, but only my twin.
Q: Which features have you changed so far?
A: I got a personalised number plate.
Q: How far have you travelled?
A: We have driven as far as Limpopo but we have plans to visit other parts of the country.
We want to meet some of distant relative and reunite with old friends.
Q: Do you have any traffic fines?
A: No, we obey road rules.
Q: Why did you choose white?
A: White is attractive colour that matches any outfit.
Q: What do you think of other Mzansi road users?
A: Most motorist are impatient when they drive. Some of them drive under the influence of alcohol, especially during weekends, month ends and holidays like Good Friday.
This bad behaviour is costing our country a lot as it kills many people every year. Every road user must learn to be patient and cut down on speed.
