The new BMW 3 Series has just hit the roads, and if you are thinking about getting yourself one, here’s how expensive we could spec it.
The base 3-Series starts at R650 000!
For that, you get the base 330i with a four-cylinder turbo engine pushing around 190kW via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Some standard options include 17-inch rims, LEDs all-round and cruise control with brake function.
But if you want to make your 3-Series feel special you have some options to play around with.
For our 330i, the first thing we clicked on was a sporty 8-Speed automatic transmission. But you can’t get a sporty transmission with your car looking basic. So we added the M-Sport Package which will set you back a whopping R92 000!
It
comes with some sporty trim inside and out, making your 3-Series look a lil bit
more menacing.
To sort out the stance, we got the R15 000 19-inch BMW individual alloys, the standard leather won’t cut it so we optioned out the R18 200 Leather 'Vernasca' Mocha with decorative stitching.
You drive a BMW so obviously you own an iPhone right? So get yourself Apple CarPlay at a cool R4 300
but if you not only own an iPhone - but the top of the
range XS Max with 512GB and wireless charging so why not add the comfort
telephony with wireless charging which is R5800.
Once you’ve connected your iPhone so you’d want to play some of your favourite tunes on Apple Music, so why not get yourself the Harmon Kardon surround sound system, for that extra bass at just R11 400.
However,
you don’t want to wake up your neighbours with your fancy sound system so get
yourself acoustic glazing to keep out peasant sounds at R2 200.
BMW drivers are always in the fast lane, so why not get yourself the BMW LaserLights for R15 000.
And when you are in the fast lane you can’t be bothered to look down at the cockpit - so get yourself a head-up display at R17 000.
But
if you don’t want to be stuck in traffic controlling the throttle and steering
get yourself the R34 500 drive assist professional which handle the tedious
task.
And with those options and some other essentials like the R14 300 sunroof, we got a total of R363 200 worth of added options.
