THE FACTS

CAIPHAS Radebe from Zola, Soweto, said he had a retirement policy with Metropolitan.

He wanted to claim from the policy and according to him, he submitted all the required claim documents.

When he realised he wasn’t getting paid he came to the SunDefender for assistance.

WHAT I DID

I spoke to Metropolitan to find out the reason for the delay.

SOLUTION

Annescke Davids from Metropolitan did some investigation and found that no claim had been submitted.

She said Caiphas should send a copy of his ID, a bank statement and his tax reference number to Metropolitan for the process to be speeded up.

Caiphas contacted Daily Sun and thanked us for our efforts. He said he had been paid all his money.
